IF THERE WAS A 'DISLIKE' BUTTON ON FACEBOOK....

Posted on 07:30 by raja rani

Social media czar Mark Zuckerberg recently rejected the idea of equipping Facebook with a
'dislike' option on the world's biggest time-sucking platform. The 'dislike' certainly would've
spiced things up and probably led to an epidemic of de-friending and arguments in public that
mirror an episode of "The Housewives of Orange County."

If the 'dislike' button appeared, there's a chance the daily number could exceed the 4.5 billion
'likes' that are generated on Facebook every single day. I believe Zuckerberg is justing trying
to keep the peace on his social media phenomenon and hold off on the 'dislike' button for a little
while longer.

But IF  the Big Z decided to incorporate the 'diss' button into Facebook here's the Top 10 things
it would probably be used for.

10. Selfies in the mirror. The inordinate amount of regular selfies appearing on Facebook is
bad enough, but when people actually post them in the mirror with the cell phone in the shot, I'd
hit the 'dislike' button every time. Apparently, these people have no idea how stupid this type of
selfie really looks.

  9. X-Rays, surgically repaired limps, patients in hospital beds. I'm sorry, I have no interest
in seeing broken bones, fat lips, and a patient lying next to a bed pan. DISLIKE button please!

 8. Checking-in! It used to be that we never wanted to let others know where we are or what we
are doing, but that all changed with Facebook where there is a 'checking-in' feature which I really
'dislike'. Seriously, how many people care that you are 'checking-in' from Panera Bread or the
bathroom at Yankee Stadium? Perhaps, thieves on-line planning their next job love to know where
you're going to be, but most of us could do without seeing it.

 7. Feet by the sea.  Ok, this was kind of cool at first, but after seeing 642,187 pictures of
feet in the sand and the ocean in the background, they've gotten kind of old. DISLIKE.
Let's spice it up with creativity. Juggle a beach ball in the shot or dress them up with Rex
Ryan's favorite piggly-wiggly outfits or tell us which piggy went to the market and
which piggy stayed home.

 6. Woman's pictures of their baby bumps and baby bowling balls. Is nothing sacred anymore?

 5. Second-by-second sports udpates. I'm still trying to figure out why the sports experts
on Facebook have to give the play-by-play of of EVERY single play from a game. "That was
a clip!!!""He blew that coverage!!!!", "The pulling guard didn't pull!!!"  Really? You mean to
tell me you're watching the game, sitting on the couch, with a computer on your lap and now
you want to make like Troy Aikman and break down the passing tree and defensive stunts diagrammed by Bill Belichick? OK. That's cool, to each his own.  But I'd hit the 'dislike' button.

 4. People who post their Twitter stats on Facebook. Yeah, I've seen this a few times. People
actually cut and paste the amount of views and new followers they received via Twitter on
Facebook. Big 'dislike'. Why is this important? Who really cares?

 3. 'Likes' on an Obituary posting. Just when you think you've seen and read it all on Facebook,
something else comes up that makes you go, 'wow'.  A friend recently posted an obituary of
her brother. I was shocked to see 87 'likes' under it. Um, what is there to 'like'
about a death? Take 20 seconds to send a note offering your condolences.

2. Certain food pictures. OK, I get it when you've worked tirelessly in the kitchen to fix
a nice meal and are proud of the presentation. I'm all for showing off your creativity and hard
work. But when pictures of hamburgers and fries show up, I have to hit the 'dislike' button.
When a half-eaten hot dog appears, the 'dislike' button would be a mandatory hit. It's not
like we've haven't seen this 1,989, 423 times before. And that empty plate with the mmm,
mmm, good !caption? Yeah, that gets the 'dislike' button, too.

1. Pictures posing with celebrities who just died.  I don't know about you, but I find it a
little creepy. Dislike.

Note: This is a tongue-in-cheek article. You can 'dislike' it and I won't mind. I 'like' a lot
of things on Facebook like pictures of my friends and their kids, nostalgic-throwback photos,
tributes to parents, and anything where someone is smiling, having fun, and enjoying life.
But there are some I'd rather not see on Facebook. Just my humble opinion.

RED SOX LEARNED FROM THOSE WHO DID NOT

Posted on 20:43 by raja rani

Mike Hampton 7-years, $121 million

Barry Zito 8-years, $126 million

Johan Santana 6-years, $137 million

C.C. Sabathia 6-years, $142 million

What do these pitchers have in common? If you said they are left-handed, signed free-agent
contracts well over $100 million and struggled underneath the weight of them, you are
absolutely right.

In sports, history does have a way of repeating itself. Fully aware of that, the Boston Red
Sox chose not to repeat the mistake many other teams have made over the years. They
said they really wanted Jon Lester back and offered him $135 million and a lot of love.
But deep down, they knew the "hometown discount" is nothing but hot air coming from
athletes who always keep score and know what everyone else in making. And seriously,
what athlete has ever left $20 million on the table? You're right. None. Ever.

So, the Red Sox watched the Chicago Cubs, a team desperate for a winner and credibility,
throw $155 million at Lester to play in the Windy City. They also tossed in a vested option year
that could bring the total to $170 million. For one player. For 35 starts a year. For a
left-handed pitcher. That's a tough contract to swallow.

Oh, I'm sure the sabremetric geeks discovered some kind of stats we've never heard of
to validate the absurd money involved in this deal, but any stat freak can twist and bend
any kind of numbers to justify something or a desired result.

Like Lester, Hampton, Zito, Santana, and Sabathia were all showered with $100 million
plus contracts and they all turned out to be the same: an unmitigated disaster. Hampton
got hurt and hammered, Zito morphed into a batting practice pitcher, Santana got hurt,
threw a no-hitter, got hurt again and finished his Met career with a 48-34 record. That's
not a lot of bang for 136 million bucks. Sabathia's been hurt and now throws about 85
miles an hour.

Those teams that signed those players were hamstrung for years and in most cases, ended
up eating millions of dollars for guys who didn't pitch a whole lot for them. The Yankees
are still on the hook for about $100 million dollars with Sabathia and they have no idea
what they're going to get from a 33-year-old pitcher with bad knees, fluctuating weight,
and a bad arm.

Have any of these on monster contracts given to pitchers ever worked out? The Detroit Tigers gave Justin Verlander 8-years and $202 million when he turned 30. In 2014, his velocity dipped and E.R.A rose to 4.59. Pitchers don't get more durable as they age and most of them break down. The Tigers will be paying Verlander $28 million a year from 2015 to 2019. That's a lot for someone who has been a .500 pitcher since signing his deal.

Lester turns 31-years old soon and he's thrown just over 1,500 innings in his career. He's
been a workhouse and a hard-throwing pitcher, but seriously, how many lefty power
pitchers do you know besides Randy Johnson, who was a just a freak, remain durable
and get better in their mid-30's? You're right. Not many and all those secret pharmacies
where players often found the fountain of youth and added life to their fastball, are
closed.

Did the Red Sox whiff on trying to bring back a player they drafted, nurtured, and
groomed into an all-star pitcher? I guess that remains to be seen, but some people feel
they just made a calculated decision not to sign him. The St. Louis Cardinals said
and did the right things when they were trying to re-sign Albert Pujols but when
Pujols took more than $200 million to sign with the Angels, I don't think anyone
in the front office in St. Louis shed a tear.

And how have the Cards done without the best player in franchise history outside
of Stan Musial? They've gotten to the World Series twice without him.

If the Cardinals can survive without Pujols, it's not a stretch to say the Red Sox will
do just fine without Lester. I'm sorry, but he was never as good as Pedro Martinez
and Curt Schilling were with the Red Sox. He's not a big strikeout pitcher and nobody
anywhere has ever considered Lester to the best pitcher in the game. He's far from
being the best lefty. It's Clayton Kershaw, Madison Baumgarner and then
everyone else.

Perhaps, the Red Sox learned from Bill Belichick who has often made tough decisions
on players whom fans see as "favorites", but realizes their skills are on the decline. His
philosophy has always been that it's better to cut ties with a player a year too early
than a year too late. Boston fans were livid with Belichick after he didn't re-sign
Wes Welker over a matter of a few million dollars. How's that turned out? The
Patriots have survived and thrived without Welker. And Belichick will never pay
a player for what he's done in the past. He sees their real value and what they can
do now and in the future.

The Cubs needed Lester a lot more than the Red Sox did. This is an organization that
hasn't won anything in more than 100 years. It needs instant credibility and Lester
brings that. Chances are he will be strong and post great numbers for the first couple
of years of the deal and Red Sox fans will be consumed with the one that got away.

As for Boston, it had already locked up Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez for
around $200 million. There was no way they were going to tie up $350 million in
three players. I think they learned their lesson when they brought in Carl Crawford,
Adrian Gonzalez, and re-signed Josh Beckett. They needed a miracle and a team like
the Dodgers to get out of that mess. It won't happen again.

The $135 million they "tried" to give Lester was freed up and gave the Red Sox
more flexibility. They brought in Rick Porcello, Wade Miley, and Justin Masterson.
Sure, none of them have the reputation and record of Lester, but they do have more
than enough talent to succeed in Boston.

I don't think Ben Cherington and company are done wheeling and dealing,
yet. With their stable full of hot prospects, there is a chance the Red Sox could
land a front-line starter and come spring training without breaking the bank.

Perhaps, the Red Sox are smart enough to know that those who don't learn
from history are bound to repeat it.

As for Red Sox fans, thank and appreciate Lester for what he did for the
organization and move on. He certainly has. And just be happy he didn't sign
with the Yankees.

COSBY SCANDAL: AMERICA GETS DUPED AGAIN

Posted on 12:31 by raja rani

Few people have ever met Bill Cosby, but most of America thought they knew him. After
all, he came into our households every Thursday night for nearly 8 years as Dr. Huxtable,
the patriarch of a likable, intelligent, and affluent African-American family. Cosby played a
man who had character, a strong moral compass, wisdom, and a great sense of humor.

Apparently, Cosby and Huxtable were about as different as Tiger Woods and Tim Tebow.
The number of woman coming out in real life accusing Cosby of drugging and sexually
assaulting them is on par with the waitresses, pin-ups, and porn stars who came out of the
wood work to say they slept with Tiger.

Cosby, like Tiger, isn't the man we thought he was. Is anybody?

Cosby, like Tiger, is just another celebrity who carved out and carefully crafted an image that
we all bought hook, line, and sinker. Remember when Tiger, through his management company,
sent out pictures with his wife, kids, and dog portraying him to be the ultimate family man?
How'd that turn out? As soon as the photographer said, "That's a wrap!". Tiger bolted out to
the nearest Perkins restaurant to get his Grand Slam breakfast with a waitress. Fraud.

Cosby was not only a comedian we admired,  but a man respected because he stood for and
donated to many causes. When delicate but explosive subjects like socioeconomic status and
race came up, the media often went to Cosby for an opinion. Most thought he was honest,
direct, and willing to urge his own race to do a better job and take responsibility for their own
lives, "We have to start holding each other to a higher standard. We cannot blame the white
people any longer," Cosby once said.

gty_cosby_show_kb_140918_16x9_992.jpg (992×558)

The standard Cosby set for himself and the image he created has come down quicker than
a vacant building under a ton of explosives. The scandal he's drowning in has cost him his
reputation, income, shows, and even awards because nobody wants to be associated with
a man just accused, much less convicted of these deplorable allegations.

The court of public has already condemned Cosby without so much as hearing his side of the
story or getting all the facts, but that's what are society does. Forget about innocent until proven
guilty, it's guilty until you show proof you're not a dirt bag because a bunch of women say you
are.

What's more remarkable than the scandal itself, is the pure hate and vitriol America is spewing
Cosby's way. I just don't understand why people get so fired up and worried about a guy they
don't know or the women who are accusing him. What's in it for us? How are we affected by it?
Is it because we all got  duped again? Are we embarrassed because we thought we knew Cosby just because we saw him smile, laugh, and give the world lessons about life, and now he appears to
be a fraud along the lines of Lance Armstrong? Is he the biggest philanderer we've ever heard of?
Sure sounds that way to me.

Remember Lance? Yep, we believed his story. He beat cancer, raised money for research,
and gave hope to people inflicted with the terrible disease. Armstrong won seven straight
Tour de France titles and American bought into Livestrong, donating millions to his foundation.
What happened? Armstrong wasn't the guy we thought he was. He was a liar, cheat, and now
regarded as the biggest fraud in U.S. sports history.

Is that what Cosby's legacy will be? I've heard and been involved in several arguments about
Cosby. 99 percent of this country probably wouldn't even take a selfie and post it on Facebook
with Cosby after all these allegations have come out. They call him everything from dirt bag to
scumbag and everything nasty in between. According to most, Cosby is one of the worst
people on the planet and they've only heard about what he's been accused of.

We should've known that Cosby was always just acting, after all, that's his craft and what he
got paid millions to do. He was NBC's golden goose for a while because he was so convincing
as Dr. Huxtable and America loved him.

Yes, perhaps, all the hate comes in part because America got duped by a celebrity again. We
thought he was a faithful, devoted, loving husband and then all these despicable allegations come
out and BOOM! The image is shattered.

He wasn't the person we thought he was and that was just based on seeing him smile, joke, and
laugh on television. That sure happens with America and a lot of athletes We see them smile for
the camera and sign an autograph on 'SportsCenter' and think they are 'great' guys. That blows up
when they appear on the police blotter the next day for knocking out their wife or get arrested
for DUI.

Sad, but true.

When will America stop deifying and glorifying these actors and athletes. They are not perfect
and have as many, if not more flaws, than your average Joe, or in Cosby's case, doctor.

BILL BELICHICK ON THE STAND

Posted on 15:34 by raja rani

In the upcoming murder trial of former NFL player Aaron Hernandez, there is a chance Bill
Belichick will be called to the stand, which might just make the head coach of the New England
Patriots the most highly-anticipated celebrity witness since Kato Kaelin took the oath in the
trial of O.J. Simpson. Anybody who has seen Belichick during his press conferences knows
this could make for some great court drama. The Hoodie is often evasive, rude, secretive, and
well, just a prick. He gives the impression he'd much rather have a root canal while Rex Ryan
pulls the nails off his toes with a pliers than answering questions from the media.

Seeing Belichick under examination in court could be worth the price of admission--if there
was one.

Belichick, who says he doesn't do Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or any other form of social
media, reportedly texted 34 messages to Hernandez in the months leading up to the murder
the former tight end is accused of.

If Belichick does indeed take the stand, there's a good chance it could play out like this.

Defense attorney: Mr. Belichick, can you state for the record what your relationship was with
Mr. Hernandez?

Belichick: I'm a coach, he was a player, it is what it is, or in this case, it is what it was.
Coaches coach, players play. That was the extent of it.

Defense attorney: Mr. Belichick, the records show that you and Mr. Hernandez exchanged
34 texts messages. Do you recall the content of those messages?

Belichick: That's between coach and player. Those conversations are private. That's all
I'm saying.

Defense attorney: Mr. Belichick, this is a trial and you are under oath. Unless you plan
on invoking the fifth amendment, please answer the question.

Belichick: Right. I think Hernandez was looking for some advice on surveillance video
for his home.

Defense attorney: And you have some expertise in that area?

Belichick: A little.

Defense attorney: Do you care to elaborate on that?

Belichick: Not really. Spygate. Ask Roger Goodell. He has all the answers.

Defense attorney: Mr. Belichick. May I remind you, Roger Goodell is not on the witness stand.

Belichick: I know about surveillance videotaping other teams. I certainly wouldn't tell him to
videotape criminal activity involving himself in his own home. He only scored a 7 on his
wonderlic test, so he wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree, but he could run a 4.5 40, so we
wanted him.

Defense attorney: What else did you discuss?

Belichick: That's stuff's in the past. We're moving on to deliberations.

Judge: Excuse me, Mr. Belichick, this is my court room, I'll let you know when we're moving
on to deliberations.

Belichick: (Smirks...pauses...then laughs)

Defense attorney: Mr. Belichick, anything else?

Belichick: He wanted a couple of Hoodies for something he didn't care to discuss, so
I didn't ask.

Defense attorney: At any time did you use the acronyms, LOL, OMG, or WTF?

Belichick: Are you serious? I don't even know what any of those things mean.

Defensive attorney: Is there anything else you'd like to add.

Belichick: No. What happened, happened. What hasn't happened, hasn't. And you can't change
what can't be change. The past is in the past and usually stays there.

Defense attorney: You're excused.

I AM THANKFUL.....AGAIN

Posted on 07:24 by raja rani

I am thankful for my health. The groin pulls and calf strains may occur more frequently now
and the grooves around my eyes are deeper, but I'm thankful that I'm still upright and strong
enough to run marathons, swim across lakes, and complete an Ironman.

I am thankful that I have a job that I love and work with people who share the same passion, commitment and interests that I do. Love what you do, do what you love, and not have to worry about co-workers stabbing you in the back and throwing you under the bus is a beautiful thing.

I'm thankful I still have a lot of hair and women between the ages of 75 and 98 on Christian.
Mingle.com find me cute as a button.

I am thankful to have an unbelievable circle of friends. From Rye, New York to Lake Forest, Ill.
to New Canaan, CT. to Chapel Hill, NC to Atlanta, Ga. to Boston, MA, I have met some
great people who are loyal and just flat-out incredible.

I am thankful that God has blessed me with six incredible nieces and nephews who I treat
as if they are my own children. Wow. They touch my heart every time I see them.

I am not wealthy, but I'm thankful I've been enriched with opportunities that have made this
a truly wonderful life. Baseball at UNC, with the Red Sox, "Bull Durham", a sportscaster
covering Super Bowls, World Series, Olympics, Final Fours---yeah, sorry, but I do sometimes
feel like Walter Mitty. Oh, sure, I've had some serious hard knocks a long the way- been
fired, laid off, and thrown under the bus, but it's all been part of a wild and exciting journey.

Most of all, I am thankful for an incredible family. Kara is one amazing sister. She is filled
with so much love, thoughtfulness, and one giant heart. Those who know her, know she
was blessed with not only great athletic talent, but humbleness and a terrific sense of humor, too

Brother Pat is a beautiful human being. Has never uttered a bad word about anybody and
has become a great father and husband. We may not always see eye-to-eye, but we've always
been on the same page and he would do anything for me without asking anything in
return.

My mom. Wow. I am so thankful to have her as my mother and great friend. So selfless,
giving, and understanding. After my father passed away, she became the rock of the family.
Simply amazing. She took care of my ailing dad for five years, 24/7 and did it with
strength, courage, and such amazing dignity. I love and admire her so much for that. I
was truly blessed to have such tremendous parents.

I am thankful, truly thankful during this holiday season.

I wish you all and your families all the best during this most special time of the year.

TOP 1O TURKEYS OF 2014

Posted on 07:15 by raja rani

1O.  JOSH SHAW  Give the USC defensive back some serious credit for having a fertile
imagination. He sprained both ankles and told his coaches that he suffered them while
jumping off a second-floor balcony to get to a pool where his nephew was drowning.
What a hero! What a story! What a lie! When pressured to give details about the story
the Trojans' captain cracked under pressure and admitted the whole thing was lie. Hero
to zero in less than 24 hours.

  9.   JOSE CANSECO The steroid king is the king of drama and seemingly addicted to
attention. While cleaning his gun one afternoon, it accidentally went off. (I'm totally shocked)
and the bullet took off part of his finger. Doctors attached it but a few weeks later while
playing poker, the finger fell off. Canseco  said he was going to sell it on eBay.
That's Canseco being Canseco. Go away, please. Like now.

  8.   A-ROD seems to make this list every year. After sitting out all of 2013 because
MLB suspended him for his involvement in the Biogenesis scandal, it was discovered
that A-Rod gave his cousin, Yuri, a million dollars to keep his pie hole shut about the
amount of cheat A-Rod pumped into his body. Then, after denying everything about
his involvement with Tony Bosch and PED's, A-Rod told the Feds he used PED's
he received from Bosch. He's just the kind of guy you want your daughter to bring
        home for Thanksgiving. Right.

  7.   JUSTIN BRENT Speaking of people you don't want to bring home for dinner. The
Notre Dame receiver was proud as a peacock when he showed up with Lisa Ann on his
arm to a New York Knicks game several weeks ago. That wasn't too bad, but
when the legendary porn star snapped a selfie of them between the sheets, Touchdown
Jesus and everybody else on the campus of Notre Dame weren't exactly celebrating
the score. The Fighting Irish haven't won a game since.

 6.   TRENT DILFER After the Patriots got blown out by Kansas City on September 29,
the ESPN analyst declared New England was toast, "The Patriots are just not any good
anymore." Since that game, the Patriots are 7-0. Man, that is great analysis and should
find it's rightful place on "SportsCenter's NOT top 10" feature.

   5.   RAY LEWIS After news broke that the Baltimore Ravens might have tried to
cover-up the Ray Rice scandal, ESPN turned to Ray Lewis for expert commentary.
The former Ravens linebacker uttered the words that made everybody, including the
        suits at ESPN just cringe.

Lewis seemed to forget that he was arrested for a double-murder in
Atlanta in 2000 and was accused by the police of trying to cover it up.

  4.   RYDER CUP USA TEAM After getting hammered by the Europeans in the Ryder
Cup (again), the United States did what they do best: whine and point fingers. Phil
Mickelson threw captain Tom Watson under the bus and said they didn't have little
"pods" to play patty-cake in like they did in 2008 when Paul Azinger was the captain.
Watson ended up taking the blame and the PGA set up a "task-force" to figure out
why the team keeps losing. I don't know, it might have something to do with the
players choking, but I'm not really sure. What an embarrassment.

  3.   PATRIOTS FANS AND BOSTON MEDIA.  It's one thing for Dilfer to bash
the Patriots, it's quite another when the New England fan base and media slam
the team like they did. After the loss to Kansas City, they were jumping ship as
if the ebola virus was about to infect them. The media said Bill Belichick couldn't
evaluate talent anymore and didn't provide Tom Brady with enough weapons to work
with. Fans treated Brady as if he were the second coming of Geno Smith instead of the
stone cold-lock first ballot Hall of Famer he is. The Patriots have gone 7-0 since then
and everybody's trying to back on the ship with the same passion and fervor as the
idiots going into stores on Black Friday.

  2.   DONALD STERLING The longtime owner of the Los Angeles Clippers became
a former owner after the NBA bounced him after making racist comments to his
then girlfriend V. Stiviano who secretly recorded the entire conversation. Now, that's
a loyal girlfriend! Sterling was forced to sell the team which he did for $2 billion which
is an insane amount for a franchise like the Clippers.

  1.   ROGER GOODELL You'd think a guy who gets paid a salary of $44 million could
do something right, but the NFL commissioner has been flunking a lot of tests over the
last 6 months. He made a mess of the Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson scandals and
then after coming out to face the press after weeks in exile, Goodell pretty much said
he'll have a new code of conduct policy and he'll tell you about it at the Super Bowl.
        See you in February, commish.

BRIAN ZECHELLO: PUTTING THE STYLE IN NESN

Posted on 07:31 by raja rani

Brian Zechello is to sports television what Mark Zuckerberg is to social media: pure genius.

He is to producing what Antonio Cromartie is to pro-creation: potent.

His creative genius has taken NESN's production of  Boston Bruins games to an entirely
different level, making them the envy of every network that broadcasts NHL contests.

But for all his television talent, Z, as he's known world-wide, has a unique fashion
sense and style that separates him from everyone in the industry. He is bold and never
boring, simple, yet very sophisticated. A dead ringer for Chicago Cubs villain Steve
Bartman, Z is the everyman in Boston, a beer-chugging, sports-obsessed, hardworking,
and food-loving guy, who just happens to possess a cutting-edge wardrobe

Zechello, who is currently in talks to endorse Friendly's and Big & Tall menswear,
was a producer working in relative obscurity until one moment in 2006 changed his life
forever. As part of its new web site, NESN had a section where they sold company apparel
on-line.

Z was asked to wear a brown t-shirt in a promo shot while his co-workers were outfitted
in pretty colors like powder blue, pink, and a soft gray. Yes, Z drew the short straw and
had to don brown. Brown? Seriously? Who wears brown and looks good in it besides the
UPS man in your neighborhood?

But Z managed to not only make brown look good, but he turned it into gold for NESN.
Sales of the brown shirt with the "swing for the fences" slogan on it, flew off the shelves and shattered the company mark for on-line inventory The previous mark was set with the
unveiling of Hazel Mae cardboard cut-outs, but Z blew up the standard she set in less than
24 hours.

Thanks to Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo and their shout outs to Z and his fashion style
during Red Sox broadcasts, Z became an overnight sensation and a small cult hero
in Boston. Z is now as valuable to NESN as the Rem Dawg, Eck, Peter Gammons,
and the mustache of W.B. Mason.

Everything Z has worn has become a big hit in the Commonwealth. His green
sweater with the crude reindeer that looks like a Rogie Vachon hockey mask on the front
became an instant hit and Twitter exploded when Z showed the world what was on the
back of it. Classic Z. He is only man in America who could make the backside of Bambi
look good. Z was "trending" for sure.

On November 22, Z took his fashion style to an entirely different stratosphere. Before
a broadcast of a Bruins game, he broke out one of the most god-awful sweaters man has
ever seen. It was like a Bill Cosby sweater meeting Cam Neely in a back-alley on a
Saturday night. That was the result of it. A mess. But with his Vince Wilfork-like body,
Z has managed to make it look spectacular.

Since donning the Bruins sweater, NESN has been flooded with orders from those hoping
to get one in time for Christmas to give to all their loved ones. Pablo Sandoval, the Kung
Fu Panda and new Red Sox third basemen is desperately trying get one before his first press conference at Fenway Park. This new sweater might just become a hotter item than the Snuggie's
or the Clap-on, Clap-off, the Clapper.

Z, who worships Drew Bledsoe at the altar and still thinks he's the best quarterback
in Patriots history, has been getting standing ovations and props from many people throughout
the industry. Hockey legend Don Cherry has been rumored to have sought out Z for wardrobe consultation.Same goes for ESPN's Barry Melrose, and TNT's Craig Sager. Tommy Hilfiger
has been in touch with Zechello's representatives to add a "Z-collection" to his clothing line.

Z and his talent for producing and picking out memorable wardrobes have not only made
him a star in Boston, but a sought-after commodity. He's been so hot, NESN executives
have given him a non-compete contract so other stations in the market can't poach the Big
Blue Ticket for their star behind the scenes. Management was rumored to have shot down
an inquire from David Letterman for Z to appear as his 'special correspondent' on his late-
night talk show.

The guy is hot and so are his clothes. It's not a fashion statement, it's just Z.
